Mid Coast Cranes (MCC) are the largest crane company on the Mid North Coast with a fleet of over 14 cranes and trucks ranging from 15t to 28t Franna’s and 30t to 220t Mobile Hydraulic Cranes (our 220t is the biggest crane between Newcastle and Brisbane). We have depots in Port Macquarie, Kempsey and are currently setting up a satellite yard in Grafton.
MCC is owned and operated by industry professionals who have been providing their cranes and expertise to the Mid North Coast for more than three decades.
MCC has been independently audited and have been cited as an industry leader in our field for safety and our procedures of work. Our staff are highly trained and competent individuals who carry our safety and customer satisfaction objectives into the field.
MCC has played a major role in many major construction projects over the last 30 years. Over the past 8 years MCC has played an integral role in the Pacific Highway Upgrade from Nabiac to Glenugie.
MCC has played a part in all major construction projects throughout the Mid North Coast, such as, The Glasshouse development, numerous water treatment and storage infrastructure developments and maintenance, major bridge works and construction of major shopping centers.
MCC currently holds contracts with Lend Lease, CPB & McConnell Dowell/ OHL JV for mobile crane hire for the Pacific Highway Upgrade. The standards that these companies work to exceed all Australian Standard requirements and compliance is monitored by on the ground personnel at all times for safety and professionalism which is audited on a regular basis. To date MCC’s high standard in WHS coupled with our safe systems of work continues to exceed even their expectations.
We work with Essential Energy, Transgrid, Visionstream, RMS, Port Macquarie Hastings Council, Coffs Harbor Council and Kempsey Shire Council.
MCC has a dedicated plant mechanic and we are proud of our reputation for having a fleet of cranes with full service records and kept in excellent condition. We are independently audited and certified by Crane Safe annually and members of the Crane Association of NSW.
We cover all aspects of lifting, shifting, transport, project assessment and management from lifting a fridge onto a two story balcony, installing 120t transformers in high voltage electrical substations to installing bridge girders on major roads projects. We offer, free of charge, consultation and planning for projects and one off jobs alike, to determine cost effective and safe options to complete works.
